THE WHITE ROSE NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!!


The White Rose Women's Center - Dallas' only Catholic Pregnancy Center - must move out of its current location by September 1st due to new ownership of the building!  However, a miracle has happened...the building next door to the Routh Street abortion center has become available.  What a great opportunity God has provided to save the lives of even more babies and their mothers!!  The new chapel will actually overlook Routh Street's entrance!

LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS are needed to clean the new building, to renovate and make it ready for occupancy, to pack up the White Rose and St. Joseph's Helpers, and to unpack and organize in the new location.

Here's what needs to be done:

1.  Cleaners - beginning Monday, August 19th, to clean the new building.  Volunteers need to bring their own cleaning supplies, brooms, mops, buckets, gloves, etc.
2.  Skilled Laborers - Plumbers, Electricians, Trim Carpenters, A/C & Heating.
3.  LAN installers.
4.  Carpet layers.
5.  Space designers - to help make the most efficient use of the working space and storage areas.
6.  Packers and Movers
7.  Packing materials, boxes, etc.
8.  Trucks, Vans, etc.

Donations of Materials Needed:
 

1.  Kitchen and bathroom fixtures
2.  Washer & dryer
3.  Carpeting
4.  Mini-blinds
5.  Shelving
6.  Black-out shades for Sonogram Room
7.  Anything you can donate to help with this will be greatly appreciated!!

The actual move of St. Joseph's Helpers will begin on Wednesday, August 28th.  But before then, all the baby clothes, furnishings, and other baby items must be boxed up.  The move will progress through Saturday, August 31st, with the White Rose being the last to vacate.  John Everett expects the life-saving work of the White Rose to continue during the moving process.

This is going to be a monumental task and it will take a lot of devoted people from all over the diocese to accomplish this move.  PLEASE HELP in any way you can!!!
